Urban decay overgrown house (Uncharted style)

Description:
In this project, I tried to replicate the urban decay/overgrown style used in Uncharted 4. I had lots of fun creating the decay worn out textures. The house's textures were made using Substance Designer and the foliage textures were made using photosource. I walked around my apartment area to find plants that look similar to one in the reference image and took the photos. Every model was made in Maya.

Breakdown process
Because the house has a symmetry design, I broke it down to 3 modular pieces. I modeled, unwrapped and baked them separately. The parts with similar shapes have UVs stacked on top of each other to save the UV space. After that I assembled these pieces into a house
I then deformed the house to make each face unequal and look worn out. I also intended to let UV in some face distorted a little bit to get unequal brick texture and make the texture don't look to repeated. Then I modeled the roof and chimney as separated pieces. The roof was made using a deforming plane and I used alpha channel to trim the edge and make holes on the roof surface.
